Man who drove through fence, into West side home suspected of DWI
SAN ANTONIO —
Police suspect alcohol was a factor in a crash where a man drove through a fence and crashed into a home Saturday night.
The crash happened near South Hamilton and Ceralvo Street at about 11:20 p.m. A man was traveling westbound on Ceralvo Street at a high rate of speed when he launched over some railroad tracks, lost control, barreled through several barricades, jumped a curb, crashed through a fence and into a home, according to police.
Officers said the driver is suspected of driving while intoxicated, but the investigation remains ongoing.
