The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving two people at a home in far North Bexar County.

The shooting happened on Fossil Peak, near TPC Parkway, shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday night. Brann Alan Mills, 47, and Adriana Lejarzar, 47, were found dead at the scene, the Bexar County Medical Examiner confirmed. Mills' death was ruled a suicide, with a gunshot wound to his head, officials said. Lejarzar died in what is being ruled a homicide, with multiple gunshot wounds.

A neighbor called deputies when she heard shots and felt the windows of her home shake. The first arriving deputy found the body of a 47-year-old woman lying next to a car and the body of a 47-year-old man in the driveway, next to the front door of the house. A rifle was nearby.

Investigators believe there was a confrontation that led up to the shooting and that the woman may have been trying to leave.

The identities of the man and woman have not been released. No one else was hurt.
