SAN ANTONIO -- Abigail Martinez has been missing for three weeks.
"It's hard. I don't know where she's at, if she's okay, you know, it's hard," said mom Jennifer Schmitter.
Schmitter says she dropped her 15-year-old daughter off at John Jay High School on Friday, September 9th.
"She got out of the truck just like a normal day, she kisses me, and she leaves," Schmitter told us.
Schmitter said later that day she received an alert from her daughter's school that Abigail did not attend her last period. The teen never made it back to her house in the 6000 block of Cartwheel Lane. Schmitter says she's working with the San Antonio Police Department's Missing Persons Unit and the Heidi Search Center.
"I see things on TV of other kids, or hear about things. I don't know that could easily be my daughter as well," Schmitter added.
Abigail has brown hair and eyes, stands 5 feet tall, and weighs 130 pounds.
"I just wish that whoever has her, or know where she's at, just let her come home," said Schmitter.
If you have any information on Martinez' whereabouts, call SAPD's Missing Persons Unit at (210) 207-7660, or the Heidi Search Center at (210) 650-0428.
