SAN ANTONIO - More than 60 dogs that were rescued from euthanization at Animal Care Services are now on their way to Idaho.

The dogs were transported to the Idaho Humane Society as part of the inaugural flight of the new program called, 'Headin' Home,' organized by San Antonio Pets Alive.

Reporter Darlene Dorsey spoke to organizers who say they hope more pets can be saved before it's too late.
