New Braunfels police search for 'Brisket Bandit' who hit H-E-B twice

New Braunfels police are searching for a man who allegedly stole brisket from an H-E-B in New Braunfels, then returned to the scene of the crime to do it again.

Police said a man entered the H-E-B Plus on Farm-to-Market 306 on May 9 and walked out with 7 beef briskets without paying. He then returned to the same store on May 11 and walked out with an additional 6 briskets. In total, he walked out with about $400 in beef.

The suspect is believed to be in his 30s and drives a white Ford Expedition, according to police.

Anyone with information on the man is asked to call the Comal County Crime Stoppers 830-620-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online. Helpful tips could earn a reward of up to $2,000.
