New Braunfels teenager arrested in connection with Sunday shooting

NEW BRAUNFELS - A teenager was arrested on Sunday evening after an argument with another teenage boy led to a shooting.

The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. at a home on the 2900 block of Oakdell Trail.

New Braunfels Police said that when they arrived, they found a 19-year-old male from Converse with multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives discovered that the shooting happened following an argument between two teenage boys.

The suspect was identified as 18-year old Joshua Elijah Limon of New Braunfels, who was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The victim remains in critical condition.

Limon has had his run ins with the law before, as he was arrested in August 2018 in connection with the robbery, beating of a rideshare driver.
