Northeast side carjacking victims speaks out
SAN ANTONIO - A northeast side man has spoken out after being carjacked and robbed at gunpoint.
It all unfolded at an apartment complex near Thousand Oaks and Schertz road.
Antonio Dillard said he should have trusted his instinct Tuesday night.
“I noticed the vehicle and it kind of looked out of place so just brushed it off some more."
He had just parked after coming from work. Moments later the night quickly changed.
“You never think it will happen to you. I started walking down here to my apartment as I walked out there two people kind of (started) (running) around me, (and) surrounded me,” added Dillard.
“One had a gun, pointed at me. Told me stop moving, (going to) shoot me,” he said.
Dillard said he handed over money and his keys. Then they took off with his car. “Not worth getting shot over,” added Dillard.
Police ended up finding Dillard's car and arrested four people. All four have been booked on 2 counts of aggravated robbery.
