One in custody after attempted traffic stop leads to chase, crash in Cedar Park

Cedar Park, Texas-- One suspect is in custody following a chase in Cedar Park.

The chase reportedly started around 9:44 a.m. Sunday near the 183 toll road. Cedar Park motor units attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The drive refused to stop as it continued heading southbound on 183 going up to a speed of 100 mph. and the motor units followed.

The chase ended when the driver exited 183A Frontage Road and wrecked his vehicle at Brushy Creek Road.

Officials say the driver refused medical treatment at the scene.

Cedar Park Officers arrested the driver for evading arrest in a motor vehicle.

The driver is identified as 28-year-old James Dennis.
