SAN ANTONIO - Police are involved in an apparent standoff Saturday evening on the Northwest Side.

Officers were called to a home near London Heights and Queen Heights around 4 p.m for a domestic dispute involving a man and woman. Police said the man punched his wife. When authorities arrived on scene, the man pulled out a gun on police and standoff ensued.

Live video from the scene show officers wearing what appear to be bullet proof vests and carrying guns. Police are still trying to negotiate with the suspect as of 7 p.m.

We have a crew at the scene. Check back here for updates.
