Police begin 2-week grace period for outstanding misdemeanor warrants

SAN ANTONIO — If you have an outstanding warrant, now is the time to take care of it.

The San Antonio Police Department will begin a warrant resolution campaign on Monday. Anyone with a Class C warrant is being urged to resolve them at Municipal Court online, by mail or in person at the courthouse located at 401 South Frio.

Class C misdemeanor violations include mostly traffic violations. Individual warrants can be viewed here.

Then, beginning Monday, March 5, SAPD will begin enforcing those warrants still outstanding.

Free parking at Municipal Court will be available during the entire three week period.

During a similar campaign last year, more than 17,000 warrants were cleared.
