SAN ANTONIO - A driver is in trouble after being accused of slamming into two cars.
The accident happened just after 10 p.m. on U.S. 281 North and Brook Hollow Boulevard.
Police said the driver who caused the accident was driving drunk before he hit the two cars on the side of the road.
A woman with two kids ran out of gas and was pulled over on the side of the road. A driver in a black car came to help and pulled up behind her. Both drivers were standing outside their cars when police say a drunk driver rolled his vehicle, slamming into the black car and then into the other car.
The children were unharmed, but all of the drivers had to be taken to the hospital.
Police said the driver who caused the wreck will face intoxication assault charges.
