Police searching for unregistered sex offenders in New Braunfels
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - Police are searching for two men they say failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements in New Braunfels.
They say 38-year-old Charles David Boatwright has been convicted of multiple felony sex crimes in California.
Because of this, he is required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, no matter where he is. Boatwright is described as a 6'7'' black man, weighing 205 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The other is Tristan Blake Skidmore, 22.
Skidmore has reportedly failed to comply with his sex offender registration multiple times and is required to register until February of 2024.
He's also wanted out of Comal County for Tampering with a Government Record, along with Possession of Marijuana (>4oz <= 5lbs).
Police say Skidmore is a white male standing at 6'1'' and 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
