CORPUS CHRISTI - Hurrican Harvey is intensifying causing property damage and debris before making landfall in Corpus Christi.

Shoreline Boulevard is being pummeled by the wind and rain. Debris from palm trees and buildings now cover the street.

CBS Austin's Jordan Bontke spoke to the general manager of the Bayfront Inn who is hoping the storm takes out the property.

With the hurricane growing in strength, Bontke noted that may very well be a possibility.
