SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio City Council is starting its search for the next city manager.
Thirty-one applicants have applied for the position.
Council members are discussing what steps they will take to fill Current City Manger Sheryl Sculley's roll. The council has until Feb. 1 to make its decision.
Sculley announced she was retiring last month. Her announcement came after voters approved a city charter amendment to limit tenure and pay for future city managers.
