The San Antonio Fire Department said no employees were hurt in a minor vapor explosion at a supplier facility near the Toyota plant on Thursday.

According to an SAFD spokesperson, there was a minor vapor explosion inside a "scrubber system" outside the manufacturing plant's main building.

There were about 250 employees in the facility at the time; some grabbed fire extinguishers and put the fire out before the fire department arrived.

Firefighters are checking the air quality before employees will be allowed back into the building.
