San Antonio 'hot cops' calendar raises money for a good cause
SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio police department donated some special money to a special cause Friday.
The money came from sales of the San Antonio police "Hot Cops" calendar to schools affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The funds went to three districts in Southeast Texas to help repair damage at their schools.
"It's a warm feeling all around, for sure," said Shanus Bennett, an officer with the San Antonio police department. "Just the look on the faces of the administration that showed up today -- we know that we definitely made a little bit of a difference for sure."
More than $20,000 were raised and donated from the hot cop calendar sales.
