Search underway for missing San Antonio mother of 4

SAN ANTONIO - A search is underway by family, friends and volunteers for a local mother of four who vanished nearly a week ago.

Family members say no one has seen or heard from 30-year-old Cecilia Huerta Gallegos since Sunday.

Cecilia’s family says she left work at Saint Francis Nursing Home on Woodlawn Avenue to go check on her children Sunday afternoon. She hasn’t been seen since – and hasn’t used any credit cards, called anyone or showed up to work again.

The search, which began near Esparza Elementary School, is being hosted by the Chain Breakers Search & Rescue, Search & Support in San Antonio and Texas State Militia.
