Seguin police seize drugs, money on search warrant

Two women are in custody after the Seguin Police Department seized multiple drugs and over a thousand dollars while executing a search warrant.

28-year-old Samantha Salazar and 34-year-old Erica Medrano are in the Guadalupe County jail after police found nearly 64 grams of heroin, 14 grams of methamphetamine, 7 oz of marijuana and more than $1,600 at a home in the 600 block of Maldonado Ave.

Police said they executing that search warrant Sunday morning.

Salazar is charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution of a known felon, possession of marijuana in a drug free zone and three counts of manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance. Medrano was charged with possession of a dangerous drug.
