Silver Alert discontinued for 82-year-old Edinburg man
Update: Authorities on Wednesday discontinued a Silver Alert for 82-year-old Harold Houle, who was found safe in San Antonio, according to Edinburg Assistant Police Chief Oscar Treviño. Arrangements are being made to have him returned home, Treviño said.
Original Story: A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday for an 82-year-old Edinburg man last seen driving on U.S. Highway 281 North near Premont.
Harold A. Houle, 82, of Edinburg was last seen Tuesday at about 1:30 p.m. driving a black, 2008 Ford F-150 pick-up truck with the Texas license plate number WVZ7DV.
Houle is described as a white male with white hair and blue eyes. Houle weighs about 220 pounds and is about six feet tall. Houle was last seen wearing a grey North Korean Veteran’s cap, a blue golf shirt and blue jeans.
Authorities say Houle has been diagnosed with cognitive impairment.
