Suspect at large after allegedly stabbing man who offered him a ride

Police are searching for the suspect who stabbed a man in the chest on the Southeast side on Sunday.
Officers were called to a Valero gas station in the 3000 block of Goliad at about 12:30 a.m. for reports of a stabbing victim. The victim told officers that he had seen the man walking so he offered him a ride. After reaching the destination, the suspect pulled out a knife, stabbed the man in the chest, and fled. The victim then drove himself to the gas station for help.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The suspect is still on the run.
