SAN ANTONIO - Two teens were taken into custody after they allegedly led deputies and state troopers on a chase in a stolen tow truck.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said the owner of the tow truck reported it stolen at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday. The owner was able to track the vehicle and tell authorities where it was headed.

Deputies and troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety spotted the truck and tried to pull it over, but the teen driver kept going. At one point, a trooper shot at one of the tires.

The suspect then lost control on a turn and slammed into a fence at an East Side cemetery. The driver and passenger were taken into custody. Deputies said they also found a gun on the seat and marijuana on the passenger.

They face various charges. No other information was released.
