The vehicle was carrying 10 passengers--5 adults and 5 children--on a road trip from San Antonio to Austin when a tire blew out on I-35, causing the SUV to flip multiple times.
31-year-old Sean Thompson and 24-year-old Destiny Bridges were killed in the crash.
Three of the five children, ages 7, 8 and 9, were transported by medics to Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin.
