Three men arrested in connection with Fourth of July murder
SAN ANTONIO - Police have arrested all of the suspects wanted in connection with a Fourth of July murder.
It was a massive effort by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and San Antonio Police Street Crimes Unit, along with the ROP Unit and SWAT Team.
Two of the suspects, Lonnie and Christian Ellison were caught off West Military Drive, and the other suspect, Jordan Davis, was arrested without incident by the SAPD ROP Unit and SWAT team during a traffic stop on Highway 151 and Military Drive.
An affidavit says the trio are accused of shooting three people inside a car on July 4th off Castroville Road. Two victims survived, but Jesus Garcia died at the scene.
Police said according to a witness at the scene, the shooting was prompted by a drug deal.
Lonnie Ellison was involved in a standoff with Bexar County Sheriff's Deptuties on Aug. 3 at a home on Bisley Pass.
All three men face the charge of Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
