Two teens arrested after woman hit in stomach during drive-by shooting in Seguin

SEGUIN, Texas – Two teenagers were arrested after being accused of shooting a woman during a drive-by shooting over the weekend.

David Salaz, 17, andLuis Leandro, 18, were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Saturday at a home off Mitchell Avenue near S. Guadalupe Street in Seguin.

Witnesses told Seguin Police officers that the gunshots came from a dark-colored sedan. The 57-year-old female was shot in the stomach. She was taken to the hospital in San Antonio.

Police said they quickly located the suspect's vehicle and arrested Salaz and Leandro.

Their bonds are set at $750,000 each.
