UT Health SA nurses give wellness checkups to Northeast Side residents

SAN ANTONIO – The UT Health San Antonio school of nursing is providing wellness checkups for children, teens and adults living at Oak Manor Apartments on the Northeast Side.

This is thanks to a partnership with Superior Healthplan and Prospera Housing Community Services, who assist families in achieving social and economic stability by providing affordable housing.

"We're doing well-child checkups, we're doing well-adult checkups,” Cindy Sickora with UT Health SA said. “We're providing flu vaccinations for adults and we're providing flu vaccinations for children."
