Victim grazed in the head by bullet that was fired into the air
SAN ANTONIO —
A person sitting in a car at a gas station was grazed in the head by a bullet early Monday morning.
According to officers, the victim was at a Chevron gas station at Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel on the northeast side just before 2:30 a.m. when someone in a passing car fired a gunshot into the air.
The bullet came back down and grazed the victim in the head. Another person in the vehicle drove the victim to a hospital, but later returned to the crime scene where an ambulance took the victim to University Hospital in stable condition.
Police said they believe the shooter had just left a bar on Walzem Road where a woman was shot and killed by a security guard just minutes earlier. Click here to read more.
