Authorities arrested a man accused of leading officers on a chase from the Medical Center area to the southwest side of San Antonio.

Officers with the San Antonio Police Department first tried to pull the man over along Medical Drive at about 11 p.m. on Thursday. The suspect, who is wanted on an outstanding felony warrant and a probation violation, did not stop and instead led police on a chase through the Medical Center.

After SAPD officers lost him, deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office found him near Loop 410 and Babcock and they started chasing the suspect.

The suspect is accused of leading deputies on a chase from Loop 410 to I-10, then to I-35 south. He eventually got off the highway at I-35 and Zarzamora, before crashing through the fence of a home off Gillette Boulevard.

He tried to run, but was captured a short time later, officers said. He faces several charges.
