SAN ANTONIO -- We are just days away from the grand opening of a San Antonio gem -- Confluence Park.
The San Antonio River Authority released a time-lapse video of the park being built. Friday, they provided a tour of what you can expect to see when it's unveiled on Wednesday, January 17th. There's still quite a bit of construction that needs to be done, though.
“As we know, Mother Nature can sometimes throw curveballs,” explained Frates Seeligson, Director of Confluence Park. “And we did not really factor in snow days. Uhh, 23-degree weather. You can look around, there's quite a bit of concrete on site. It's hard to pour concrete when it's 23 degrees.
The free grand opening party is open to the public.
