Woman breaks into home, struggles with another woman over knife, say police

SAN ANTONIO - A woman is facing charges of breaking into a house on the South Side early Tuesday morning.

Police say a woman got into the house on Arlington Court, near I-10 and South Presa, through a window at about 2:30 a.m.

Investigators believe she tried to reach for a knife when she was confronted by another woman in the house. The two women struggled over the weapon and the intruder was cut in the head.

She was treated at the scene and taken into custody. Police said she faces a charge of burglary.

The other woman was not hurt. Detectives did not release any other details.
