NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - A woman is dead after losing control of her pickup truck early Monday morning.
The accident happened just before 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Farm-to-Mark 725 and South Bank Boulevard.
Police said the woman was driving 2006 Ford F-150 down FM 725 when the stop light turned red. She tried to stop suddenly, but lost control and slammed into a metal pole on the driver's side door.
The woman, identified as 28-year-old Liliana Fraire of Guadalupe County, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident is still under investigation by the New Braunfels Police Department.
