Woman tells police man threatened to kill her for spending Christmas with her ex

SAN ANTONIO - Police arrested a man accused of threatening his girlfriend for her decision to spend the holidays with someone else.

According to a criminal complaint, Reynaldo Rodriguez, 37, was outraged his current girlfriend spent Christmas day with the father of her children.

Upon her return to an apartment on the city's West Side, Rodriguez reportedly told her, "I'm going to (expletive) kill you."

The victim locked herself inside a bathroom and called police and Rodriguez ran off with a shotgun, according to arrest papers. He was later found and arrested.

He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
