Woman's body found on Northwest side after mother receives chilling call from daughter
Police launched a murder investigation early Sunday morning after a woman received a chilling call from her daughter.
Authorities say they began searching for a woman at about 2:45 a.m. after receiving a call from a mother who claimed her daughter had been stabbed. Her daughter called her and told her she had been stabbed and that "he" would not let her out of the car.
Police tracked the daughter's phone and later found her body next to a car about a quarter of a mile down the road from the highway near I-10 and Camp Bullis. Investigators said it appeared she had been run over as well.
Detectives are now investigating her murder. Her boyfriend has been identified as a person of interest, but his name has not been released.
No further details have been released at this time.
