More than 200 million eggs produced at Indiana farm recalled

More than 200 million eggs are under recall over fears of salmonella contamination.

The eggs all come from Rose Acre Farms in Indiana.

According to the FDA, at least 22 people have gotten sick because of the eggs. They were sold in nine states: Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. The FDA says anyone who bought the eggs should throw them away or return them to the place were they were purchased for a refund.
