Mother accused of sending 16-year-old daughter to attack people with machete in Florida
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) — A teenager, her boyfriend and her mother are facing charges after a machete attack in the western Florida Panhandle.
Candie Lynn Walker has been charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Walker’s daughter, 16-year-old Hannah Fine, has been charged with two counts of attempted felony murder.
According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Fine was driven to a home Thursday and attacked a woman and a minor with a machete. The police responded to the scene to find the victims outside suffering from multiple lacerations.
The sheriff’s office said Walker told Fine to commit the attack.
Fine’s boyfriend, 15-year-old Deshawn Donson, was charged with accessory after the fact. The sheriff’s office said Donson drove Fine to Peppertree Court for the attack and then fled with her.
