SAN ANTONIO -- Bexar County deputies need your help looking for a man accused of beating a woman after he couldn't find his bag of prescription drugs.

Deputies were called to a home on the Northwest side of town in November 2017 for a disturbance call. The victim said she had gotten into a fight with 40-year-old Juan Sanchez over his alleged abuse of pills.

Sanchez then became angry because he couldn't find his bag of pills, according to deputies. The victim told deputies that she grabbed a knife and asked him to leave. This angered him more so he took the knife away and allegedly assaulted her. He then took her cell phone so she couldn't call for help.

Sanchez is now wanted on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. He stands at about 6 feet 1 inch, weighs about 240 pounds and has dark hair and dark eyes. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at 210-335-6000.
