SAN ANTONIO – A woman was shot in the leg during an argument at a Southeast Side apartment complex.
The incident happened around 10:15 a.m., Sunday, on the 4000 block of East Southcross Blvd.
According to officials, an argument broke out between a man and a woman. At some point, the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the woman.
Police say the woman tried to slap the gun away, but it fired and shot her once in the leg. The man fled the scene afterward.
The woman was transported to SAAMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials believe the suspect is around 5 foot 5 inches tall and is covered with tattoos.
