O'Connor, Taft and Brandeis get wins in Northside triple-header
SAN ANTONIO - O'Connor, Taft and Brandeis were all able to pick up district wins in a triple-header on Saturday over at Northside gym.
The Panthers took down Marshall 75-54. O'Connor is now 22-7 overall and 12-3 in 28-6A play, sitting at third in the district standings. Marshall falls to 10-18 and 2-13.
Taft, meanwhile, snapped a seven game losing streak beating Warren 57-48. The Raiders improve to 10-18 and 2-13 in district, while Warren is now 7-22 and also 2-13.
Brandeis stays in second in 28-6A with an impressive 49-35 win over Holmes. They are now 23-3 on the year, 13-2 in district and just a game back of Clark for the top spot. The Broncos and Cougars split their two meetings this season.
Only three games remain until the playoffs.
