LOOK: 2019 NBA All-Star jerseys leaked

Charlotte, North Carolina will play host to this year’s 2019 All-Star weekend and fans everywhere may have already caught a glimpse of the new jerseys the players will be sporting.

The jersey is very similar to the ones worn last year when the league decided to go to a “Black vs. White” alternative format where two team captains chose their own teams instead of the classic “West vs. East” concept.

Except this year’s edition will feature red, white and blue trim around the shoulders with stars trailing down the side.

It’s an interesting approach to tweak last year’s uniform instead of going with possibly a Charlotte Hornet-themed jersey that displayed the team’s colors. It’s an upgrade nonetheless to last year’s version and will no doubt sell at a high rate. After all, the NBA is expanding globally and steadily becoming one of the world’s most popular sports.

Could we possibly seeing what San Antonio Spurs' DeMar DeRozan or LaMarcus Aldridge jersey once the All-Star selections have been finalized?

What’s your take on the new jerseys and do you think the Spurs will be sending one of their own to Charlotte?
