The San Antonio Spurs and Philadelphia 76ers will meet for the final time this regular-season on Wednesday night. The game will mark a reunion for former Spurs assistant coach Brett Brown and Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.

Prior to the game, Brown spoke to the media about facing Popovich and said he feels Pop is the best coach the league has ever had.

He's a good friend. He's someone you have tremendous respect for and is a close friend of mine.
In my opinion, he's the best that we've ever had which is a hell of a statement but I truly think that. He's very influential in my coaching life.

Popovich is in his final contract year with the Spurs as the team's head coach. He has said he doesn't know if he'll be back next season.

Brown was with the Spurs as a member of the Spurs' basketball operations department and an assistant coach from 1999, 2002-13 before becoming the head coach of the 76ers.

While in San Antonio, he would help the team win the 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007 NBA titles.
