The San Antonio Spurs (14-14) picked up their third-straight win, cruising to a 111-86 win over the Phoenix Suns (4-24).

After leading at halftime 56-46, the Spurs remained in control of the rest of the game led by Bryn Forbes' double-double of 24 points, and 11 rebounds. He also connected on all five three point attempts and the team recorded 13-21 from beyond the arc. LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 18 points and five rebounds.

San Antonio's defense held the Suns to 37 percent shooting in the second half and capitalized on seven Suns' turnovers in the second half for 15 points.

Here is a sampling of what the teams said following the game:

SPURS

Gregg Popovich:

"Igor [Kokokov] and the Suns were aggressive all night long, nobody hung their head. You know, they didn’t have their full group, obviously, but it didn’t matter. They were aggressive the entire night, they executed, they were competitive and as I said, it just wasn’t a fair fight. But a win is and win and we’re certainly going to take it."

Jakob Poeltl:

"We’re playing with more energy, we’re playing better together on defense and that really helps.”

Bryn Forbes:

“I mean right now every win we can get, we are going for it. I think we want to finish out strong, finish this out until Christmas."

SUNS

Igor Kokoskov:

"[There is] such a low margin for error when it comes to winning on the road, or when it comes to playing teams like San Antonio at home. You know it’s easy for a nine-point game to turn into a 15 and then to whatever the final score is. We had a chance, we were fighting."

DeAndre Ayton:

“Our energy and effort was there, but it was not enough for this game. A little fatigue was in there. We took great shots, it just didn’t wasn’t falling for us."

Spurs will next face the Clippers on 12/13.
