The Bucks and San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Ettore Messina will continue talks regarding the team's vacant head coaching job according to a report.

Coming from Italy, Messina has been coaching since 1989. During this time he has worked with multiple European teams, but found his home in San Antonio in 2014.

This isn’t the only team that has shown interest in the Spurs assistant. The Charlotte Hornets were reportedly eyeing Messina for their vacant head coaching spot before announcing former Spurs assistant coach, James Borrego, as their new head coach.

Messina took over as head coach for the Spurs after Gregg Popovich mourned the passing of his wife last season.

Also, Spurs' Becky Hammon is reportedly in the running for the Bucks head coaching spot as well.
