He may not be a member of the San Antonio Spurs anymore but ex-Spur Kawhi Leonard was among the most searched on Google for 2018.

Google released its top searches in San Antonio for 2018 and coming in second was the former Spurs forward.

This is likely over how Leonard's tenure in San Antonio ended culminating in a deal with the Toronto Raptors (along with Danny Green) in exchange for DeMar DeRozan, a protected 2019 draft pick and Jakob Poeltl.

Last season, Leonard and the Spurs were at odds over reported handling of his injury (quadriceps) and when he was set to return. Add in a team confrontation with Leonard and a mere nine games played, resulted in the offseason trade.

Toronto and San Antonio will meet on Jan. 3 in the AT&T Center. Should Leonard play, it would be his first return to San Antonio since the deal.
