Spurs Zone Poll: Do fans think the Spurs' 50-win season streak is in jeopardy?

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are currently 35-21 on the season sitting in third in the West.

Not bad for a team that has been dealing with injuries to several players for most of the season but as the season rolls on, the Spurs have one of the most difficult schedules in the NBA.

However, the Spurs have dates with the Warriors, Rockets, Jazz Thunder and Cavaliers remaining on their schedule. Does tough slate of games ahead, added with the fact the team is still trying to get healthy and develop chemistry, put in jeopardy their 50-win season streak?

With their 50th win in the 2016–17 season, the Spurs extended their record for most consecutive 50-win seasons to 18 but to Spurs fans think this streak will end this season?

Let's see what the Silver and Black faithful have to say on the latest Spurs Zone Poll.

Out of the 109 that voted, 56-percent just want Kawhi Leonard back in the lineup and do not care about if they are to eclipse the 50-win mark or not, 29-percent believe they will and 14-percent think otherwise.

Having Kawhi is what everyone wants and it makes sense. What's the point of netting another 50-win season if Leonard is still out with injury and the team flounders in the postseason?

However, this is the Spurs led by Head Coach Gregg Popovich, and the team should finish the season strong and hopefully keep the streak alive.
