Monday night will be full of emotions as former San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker makes his first return to San Antonio when the Charlotte Hornets make their lone visit.

Parker will be met with thunderous applause, love from the fans, and hugs from his former teammates and coaches. However, his return won't be the only emotional game remaining on the Spurs' 2018-19 calendar.

On March 28, the Spurs will retire Manu Ginobili's No. 20 jersey and Parker will be back for that very special night.

"I'm excited to come back, to Manu's (Ginobili) retirement jersey (night)," said Parker. "They (Spurs) asked me to talk to start the party just like I did for Timmy's (Tim Duncan)."

Parker and Ginobili were two-thirds of the Spurs "Big 3 " era along with Duncan. The trio would go on to win four NBA titles (2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014) together while Parker and Ginobili would play with one another from 2002-2018.

Parker said he and his former teammate still stay in contact with one another with Ginobili texting him about his play with the Hornets this season.

"It's a great honor to talk on Manu's retirement jersey (night)," added Parker. "I am looking forward to it."

Said Parker: "I have a lot of pressure. I've never wrote a speech before. 10 days, two weeks before I'm going to start writing because obviously Manu is very special and it's going to be a special day."
