UTSA gets 10th straight home win

SAN ANTONIO - The UTSA Roadrunners (15-10, 9-3 Conference USA) were able to take down Florida Atlantic 86-74 for their tenth straight home win at the Convocation Center.

Jhivvan Jackson and Keaton Wallace finished with 24 points a piece as Wallace breaks the UTSA single season record for most three pointers made. Wallace also had eight rebounds for the Roadrunners.

Giovanni De Nicolao had 10 points and nine assists for UTSA.

"It's not even during game time, our preparation is pretty good you know, after practice we get a lot of shots up, a lot of game shots things like that so and we play against each other so we know we have a lot of one on one experience so it carries over into the games," Wallace said.

Kevaughn Ellis had 14 points for the Owls (14-11, 5-7). Michael Forrest added 13 points. Anthony Adger had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Roadrunners now hit the road for Southern Miss on Thursday at 7 p.m.
