Talk about a moment he'll never forget.

With their second pick in the second-round of the 2018 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs selected USC's Chimezie Metu and based off the video of that moment, Metu, his family and friends were a a bit overjoyed.

Check out the moment the Spurs drafted Metu and how much love and support he received.

Congratulations Metu.

At the 2018 NBA Combine, Metu did meet with the Spurs and it seems he left an impact with the team.

Said Metu, "It was a great meeting, I felt it went great and hopefully, down the line, I'm going to workout for them pretty soon. Hopefully, that goes great."

At 6’11, he is best known for his athletic ability. He does have some skills, but it will take time for them to blossom. With that being said, he will be somewhat of a project. However, considering where he was selected, it was a good value pick.

During his junior year, he averaged 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He also racked up nearly two assists and blocks a contest. While his perimeter ability isn’t anything to write home about, he did manage to hit 12 3-pointers during his junior campaign. This means the potential to develop this shot consistently could be there with time.
