Ashley Sutton

Anchor

Since joining the team as a producer in 2009, Ashley Sutton has taken the step from behind the camera as the social media reporter - then to Live Desk Anchor - and now Fox News First anchor.

Ashley developed and produced the News 4 SA 6:30pm broadcast for its launch in 2011, earning her first of two Emmy nominations, and was most recently the special projects producer, managing investigations and field producing stories that took her to a wide range of locations including death row, Washington D.C. and the home of a faith healer.

No one can predict what news will break, and when the attacks on 9/11 happened just a month into her freshman year at TCU, Ashley decided to supplement her journalism education with an Art History degree in order to learn about the world's cultures, religions, politics and philosophies as preparation for the great range of topics covered in news. She continues that education now in the form of travel to everywhere from Budapest, Hungary to China to the great cities of the U.S.

When Ashley isn't plotting her next travel adventure, she's spending time with family and friends, brushing up on pop culture, Grouponing/Living Socializing her way to fitness, or trying to perfect her Grandma's chicken and dumplings - all typically done while singing and dancing.
