Connect With Jessica Headley

Jessica Headley's quest for knowledge, news and adventure makes her the perfect person to serve as the Fox News at Nine Anchor.

Jessica grew up in Alabama, and attended Birmingham Southern College where she graduated cum laude with a degree in political science with an emphasis in Spanish, dance and vocal performance. She also showed an interest in bettering her community with the foundation of her own character education non-profit group called P.R.A.I.S.E., Inc. With it, she passed the first ever funding for character education in the Alabama State Budget. That effort propelled her into a role as a political appointee at The White House, presiding over the President's domestic and international volunteer missions, including work with the Peace Corps, the American Red Cross, AmeriCorps and celebrity and corporate philanthropy. She was awarded the President's Service Award for more than 4,000 hours of community service.

After her time at The White House and placing as a runner up in Miss AL (MAO) and Miss DC (USA), Jessica chose to combine her ardor for academics and the arts with her longstanding fervor for news. She took an assignment working for a foreign dignitary in NYC while also training with Fox Network News in both New York City and Los Angeles. She then worked as a reporter for stations in Montana and San Diego before serving as the KABB Fox News First Traffic Anchor and then the Fox News First and Fox News Midday Main Anchor.

In addition to 23 years of dance training, singing, and growing up in the 'sports central' south, Jessica loves the outdoors, music, foreign films, horseback riding, culinary arts, organic and holistic nutrition, performance cars and following innovation, international relations, and business.

In her down time, Jessica enjoys getting active outside and spending time with her family, friends, and rescue pup ‘Montana.’ She also loves volunteering in the community especially when it comes to mentoring young women and men, helping our elders, and supporting the animal rescue community.
