Stephanie Esquivel

Stephanie Esquivel graduated high school in San Antonio and considers herself a Texan by choice. She feels honored to be telling stories in her hometown and bringing light to information and topics that can change lives.

Stephanie is a graduate from Smithson Valley High School and the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University. She has spent time telling stories in Beaumont and Tyler, Texas and Little Rock, Arkansas before making the move back home.

Stephanie also had the honor of traveling to Houston and Beaumont during Hurricane Harvey to help communicate information that helped save lives. She also reported in Columbia, South Carolina and Tampa, Florida during Hurricane Irma. She covered an EF-4 tornado during her time in Tyler, Texas and historic flooding during her time In Arkansas. Covering severe weather, hard news and digging deep into investigative pieces are what bring her the most fulfillment.

When she's not trying to make a difference in the community, you can find her at a sporting event. She LOVES covering sporting events for work too. If she's not traveling, she's probably hiking with her Pomeranian named Hank
